"DCW" stands for "Deranged Championship Wrestling". DCW was a backyard wrestling promotion that ran for 2 years back in 2000 & 2001. Our wrestling company was located in West Newton, Pennsylvania which is 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was finally decided in 2001 that our wrestling company would come to an end due to some wrestlers who kept getting concussions & other injuries.
In early 2022, a good friend of DCW Owner, Blaze Mordecai, said to him "You should bring back DCW online as a wrestling fantasy league. Why not? Online fantasy leagues are very popular these days. DCW had a very unique roster with unique characters. So, you should bring it back online & just have a limited number of events per year." After months of consideration, Blaze Mordecai, has decided that DCW will be ralaunched in 2022.
There will be 8 DCW pay per view "Events" in 2022. The first event will be called "DCW: Summerslam 1" which will be taking place on August 7th, 2022. There will be many famous wrestlers making their DCW in ring debuts such as Tazz, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, & Chris Jericho. Also, Cactus Jack will be wrestling in the main event match.
The 2nd event will be called "DCW: No Mercy 1" which will be taking place on August 21st, 2022. This event will feature a huge 16 man tournament that will lead to the crowing of the new
"DCW World Heavyweight Champion."
